Four new crimp dies and a new crimp kit have been added to the RFA-4009 product series. This means that the new RFA-4009-200 kit contains the hex cavities required to crimp nearly all of the connectors offered in our RF Connectors product line. If you already have the RFA-4009 crimp kit, you need only purchase the new die sets and store them in the expansion slots for additional dies designed into the RFA-4009 kit.

Large diameter coaxial cables such as the LMRA?A^(R)-400, LMRA?A^(R)-600, WBC-400 and WBC-600 require heavy duty crimping tools.  The new RFA-4009-20 cushion gripped crimp handle weighs only 1.3 pounds, and is designed to deliver piston-driven compression for installation of crimp ferrules on large diameter cables.  For safety and efficiency, the ratchet mechanism is designed to release only after the ferrule is completely crimped.  Two die sets are available for use with this crimp handle: the RFA-4009-01 has a .610A�‘a^?�ÊA^? hex cavity for use with .600A�‘a^?�ÊA^? diameter cable; and the RFA-4009-02 is designed for use with .400A�‘a^?�ÊA^? diameter cable with a .429A�‘a^?�ÊA^? hex cavity for ferrules and a .118A�‘a^?�ÊA^? hex cavity for contacts.  The RFA-4009 kit contains the RFA-4009-20 handle and both the RFA-4009-01 and RFA-4009-02 die sets packaged together in a foam lined, sturdy, plastic case with expansion slots to accommodate four additional die sets.
